Patrick Morris had an early start in ceramics. He learnt much of his craft from his father, Anthony Morris, founder of the iconic Morris & James Pottery, based in Matakana, New Zealand. This early fascination with ceramic design led Patrick to further his training at Central Saint Martin's College of Art & Design in London. He designed the innovative SKY PLANTER during his final year at the college. This world-first innovation won him the prestigious UK New Designers ceramic design award, placing him at the top of UK ceramic design graduates. Respect and integrity are the twin pillars of Patrick's design principles.
